Jennifer (aka Disco Jennifer), real name Chantal Benoist, is a French singer and actress. Equipped with a very nice presence, Chantal Benoist began her career as a photo model and mannequin in 1972, becoming one of the most famous in France and starting the business of acting. In 1976 the producer (as well as, at the time, her companion) Michel Deloir wants a Disco-style number, the kind that is very in at that time. "Do It For Me" from the funky album "Walking In Space". It is a great success in France, Italy and the rest of Europe. The name Jennifer and a sexy image, as well as the share, the sexy album cover and television appearances in that time, guaranteed success.

Uit Amsterdam afkomstige amusements groep die sinds 1974 werkt om success te verkrijgen. De leden bestaan uit: Richard Misseyer (drums, zang), Jos Soethout (gitaar, zang), Ronny Neyhoff (bas), Bob Fransz (gitaar, zang) en Johnny Bridge (zang). Bij hun vele optredens kregen ze veel goede reacties van het publiek. "I'm Gonna Let My Heart Do the Walking" is a disco-styled soul single composed by the Holland brothers Eddie and Brian, members of the former Holland–Dozier–Holland team and was released as a single by Motown vocal group The Supremes in 1976 on the Motown label. It was the first single since "Your Heart Belongs to Me" in 1962 to feature four Supremes. It is also notable for being the last top forty single the group would score before their contract with Motown expired the following year.

"The Beatles' Movie Medley" is a compilation of snippets from various Beatles songs. It remains the onlyBeatles single not released on CD. The single peaked at #12 on the Billboard Hot 100, and #10 on the British charts in 1982. The songs were chosen from The Beatles' films, A Hard Day's Night, Help!, Magical Mystery Tour, Yellow Submarine and Let It Be.
The songs included in the medley are "Magical Mystery Tour", "All You Need Is Love", "You've Got to Hide Your Love Away", "I Should Have Known Better", "A Hard Day's Night", "Ticket to Ride" and "Get Back".
Capitol Records first issued the single in conjunction with the album "Reel Music" and was inspired by the success of the "Stars On 45 Medley", a recording which included numerous Beatles songs sung by a John Lennon soundalike.

Udell - The Promise Of Love b/w Children´s World (1977)

Udell T. Anderson from Texas tried his luck at the end of the sixties in England (as a member of the Gladiators, a solo act and also as a session singer with Dusty Springfield and Madeline Bell) and then came to the Netherlands in 1970 to take part in the recording of the musical, "Hair". After that, he formed his own groups Stone Delight and Udell's People.
"The Promise Of Love" was taken from his LP, Udell (1977), where he was accompanied by the Rainbow Train, who also accompanied Daniel Sahuleka.

"Miracles" was written by UK band Oppo who recorded it for a 1975 Mini advert (without any lyrics). Jeff Lynne had no role in writing it, although he apparently did arrange this version by Swedish singer Anita Garbo. Bobby Rydell is an American professional singer, mainly of rock and roll music. In the early 1960s he was considered a so-called "teen idol". His performance in Bye Bye Birdie and his recordings "Wild One" and "Volare" made him a famous performer in the late 1950´s and 1960´s. Rydell used his talents as an impersonator and drummer mostly in pursuing a musical rather than an acting career. Rydell was considered a "teen idol" along with Frankie Avalon, Pat Boone, Fabian, Johnny Tillotson, Jimmy Clanton and Bobby Vee. In 1960 he hit the Charts with "Sway", a 1953 mambo song by Mexican composer and bandleader Pablo Beltrán Ruiz. He also hit the charts again in 1976 with the reissue of "Sway" (Disco Version).

Dee C. Lee (born Diane Catherine Sealy, 6 June 1961, Balham, South London) is an English pop singer.
Dee C. Lee was a backing vocalist for the pop group Wham! in the early 1980s, but she left the group to work as a solo artist and also to join Paul Weller's band, The Style Council. She was later married to Weller for ten years (but now divorced), they have two children, Leah and Natt. Natt appeared on stage with his father at Hammersmith Apollo aged 12. Following her departure from Wham!, Lee released her first solo single, "Selina Wow Wow", in 1984.
Despite considerable airplay, the single failed to reach the UK Singles Chart, and in Holland it only reached the Tipparade in March 1984.

The one and only number one single in the UK for Demis Roussos, spending a single week at the top of the charts in July 1976 and the sole EP to reach the top of the charts that decade. Vicky Leandros (now legally Vassiliki, Baroness von Ruffin) is a Greek singer with a long international career.
She is the daughter of singer, musician and composer Leandros Papathanasiou (known as Leo Leandros – composer pseudonym Mario Panas). She achieved worldwide fame after winning the Eurovision Song Contest in 1972 with the song "Après Toi" (representing Luxembourg).
After many international hits she released an album in 1978 called "Ich Bin Ein Mädchen" with two english songs on it, the cover "House Of The Rising Sun" and "Bye Bye My Love"

Newz - Oeh I Say b/w Disco Love (1981) - single

Newz is een disco en funkband uit Tilburg.
Drummer Gerben Oppermans en toetsenist Henry van Helvoirt kennen elkaar uit het Top 40-circuit. Samen met Richard Sigarlaci percussie richten ze de band Newz op, en spelen regelmatig in Brabant in wisselende bezettingen met soms vijf muzikanten aangevuld met drie zangeressen.
Als disco populair wordt stapt Newz over op dit genre, en met succes. De groep breekt door na een optreden in 1980 in het voorprogramma van de Dolly Dots in de Tilburgse discotheek Talk Of The Town.
De single "Oeh I Say" wordt in 1982 een bescheiden hit.
