"Go Wild in the Country" is a song and single written by Dave Barbarossa, Leigh Gorman, Malcolm McLaren and Matthew Ashman, performed by British new wave band Bow Wow Wow and taken from their album “See Jungle! See Jungle! Go Join Your Gang, Yeah. City All Over! Go Ape Crazy”.
It was first released in 1982. It was the first single by the band to not be produced by Malcolm McLaren. "Go Wild in the Country" was used as the theme tune for Cavegirl a BBC children's TV programme originally aired in 2002.
