Wham - Club Fantastic Megamix / A Ray Of Sunshine (Instrumental Mix) (1983) - single

Wham! was an English musical duo formed by George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley in the early 1980s. They were briefly known in the United States as Wham! UK due to a naming conflict with an American band. Wham! sold more than 25 million certified records worldwide from 1982 to 1986.
"Club Fantastic Megamix" was a single released by Wham! in 1983, and was the last single release for the duo on Innervision Records. It was approved by Mark Dean, the manager of Innervision Records. The single was released three months after Wham! had begun proceedings to leave the label, and was disapproved of by George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley. The single, which consisted of a mix of the tracks "A Ray of Sunshine", "Love Machine", and "Come On" off the album “Fantastic”.
The only reason why the “Club Fantastic Megamix” was able to be released was because the songs had already been released. Prior to a song being released a publisher has the right to grant the first license of a tune of which he holds the copyright. Because those three tracks had already been released into the public domain, they were unable to do anything about preventing the release.
