The Everly Brothers - Temptation b/w Love Of The Common People (1980) - single

The Everly Brothers were American country-influenced rock and roll singers, known for steel-string guitar and close harmony singing. Isaac Donald "Don" Everly (born February 1, 1937) and Phillip "Phil" Everly (January 19, 1939 – January 3, 2014) were elected to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986 and the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2001.
The A-side "Temptation" is a popular song published in 1933, with music written by Nacio Herb Brown and lyrics by Arthur Freed. The song was used in the film Singin' in the Rain in 1952, and covered and original released by The Everly Brothers in 1961.
The B-side "Love of the Common People" is a folk ballad written and composed by John Hurley and his writing partner, Ronnie Wilkins, eventually released in 1970 on John Hurley's album John Hurley Sings about People, but first sung in January 1967 by The Four Preps. It had been originally covered by The Everly Brothers in 1967. Both songs were re-released as A-sides in 1980.
