Yes - Don´t Kill The Whale b/w Abilene (1978) - single

“Tormato” is Yes' last studio album to feature both singer Jon Anderson and keyboardist Rick Wakeman in the band's line-up before Yes disbanded in 1981. The album received a mixed response upon its release; the main subject of criticism for the album is the quality in production, which led to a compressed and dull sound. Rick Wakeman has said that Yes never got the best out of some of the material on “Tormato”, while Steve Howe admitted that Yes were unsure of themselves musically at the time The album produced the minor hit single, "Don't Kill The Whale".

Stevie Wonder - As b/w Contusion (1976) - single

"As" is a song written and performed by Stevie Wonder from his 1976 album, "Songs In The Key Of Life". It reached #36 on both the Billboard Hot 100 and Black Singles chart. The song implies that the love the singer has for his mate will never diminish by saying he will love her until the physically impossible becomes true. The impossible feats include: rainbows burning the stars out in the sky, oceans covering the tops of every mountain, dolphins flying, and parrots living at sea, dreaming of life and life becoming a dream, day becoming night and vice versa, trees and the seas flying away, 8×8×8 equaling 4, this day becoming the last day, the Earth turning right to left, the Earth denying itself, Mother Nature saying her work is through, and "until the day that you are me and I am you".

Dyke Brothers Band - Apple Judy b/w Dyke´s Bluegrass Special (1976) - single

Fashion - Love Shadow b/w Let´s Play Dirty (1982) - single

Fashion were a British new wave band consisting of Dee Harris, Al "Luke Sky" James, Alan Darby, John Mulligan, Marlon Recchi, and Dik Davis.
The band had two or three eras. The first, from 1978 to 1980, was part of the underground music of the 1970s, while punk was making their last hits in Britain, when the band, named Fàshiön Music, released experimental post-punk rock and like-reggae/ska oriented songs; and was also characterized by the presence of lead vocalist and guitarist Luke Sky, who left in 1980, ending with that first era. Their sound was varied, playing punk, post-punk and indie repertoire, although Mulligan at that time also had a synthesizer which later characterized the future electro and new romantic years of the band (sounding like rock bands of the day, as Magazine, The Cure, and Joy Division). Their most notable album, “Fabrique” (1982), saw a significant change in line-up, with James having left the band and Harris and Recchi joining. “Fabrique”, produced by Zeus B. Held, contained the singles "Move On" and "Love Shadow".

Neil Young & Crazy Horse - Southern Pacific b/w Motor City (1981) - single

“Southern Pacific“ Re-ac-tor” is a song taken from the eleventh studio album by Canadian musician Neil Young, and his fourth with Crazy Horse, released in 1981. The album married the electric guitar crunch of the late '70s Crazy Horse sound with early '80s new wave rhythms. The simplistic, overdriven sound of the songs can be seen as a continuation of the punk-influenced numbers of Rust Never Sleeps such as "Sedan Delivery."
The album also marked the first use by Young of the Synclavier which would be featured heavily on several of his later albums.

The Cure - Boys Don´t Cry (New Voice-New Mix) b/w Pill Box Tales (1986) - single

"Boys Don't Cry" was the second single to be released by The Cure, released in June 1979. It was released in the UK as a stand-alone single, and was included as the title track on Boys Don't Cry, the American equivalent to Three Imaginary Boys.
Written by Michael Dempsey, Robert Smith, and Lol Tolhurst, the lyrics tells the story of a man who has given up trying to regain the love that he has lost, and tries to disguise his true emotional state by "laughing, hiding the tears in [his] eyes, 'cause boys don't cry".
In April 1986 it was re-released under the title "New Voice · New Mix", in which the original track was remixed and the vocals re-recorded. The new version has not appeared on any subsequent release by The Cure, but can be heard in the music video for "Boys Don't Cry". It was released to promote the album “Standing On A Beach”; however, the original version of the song appears on the album.
