Real Life are a Melbourne-based Australian new wave/synthpop band that had hits with their debut single, "Send Me an Angel" (1983), featured on the band's debut album “Heartland” (1983).
It is the band's most well-known song. This version originally peaked in early 1984 in the US at No. 29 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song is about a man who asks himself whether he will find true love.
