Tina Charles - One Broken Heart For Sale b/w Great Male Robbery (1974) - single

Tina Charles (born 10 March 1954) is an English singer who achieved success as a disco artist in the mid to late 1970s. Charles began her career as a backing singer and session musician. In 1975 Charles and her friend Linda Lewis were backing vocalists on the Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel chart topping song, "Make Me Smile (Come Up and See Me)". She provided the lead vocals for 5000 Volts' 1975 disco hit single "I'm on Fire". Charles' big break came soon after in 1975, when Indian-British composer/producer Biddu
Became her producer. “One Broken Heart For Sale” was the first single he produced.

Spliff - Das Blech b/w Tag Fur Tag (1982) - single

Spliff was a Neue Deutsche Welle (New German Wave) rock band, active in the 1980s. The members were already playing together before they were 'adopted' by Nina Hagen when she came to West Germany in 1977. They recorded two albums with her as the Nina Hagen Band before continuing under the name Spliff when Hagen went solo. Their characteristic sound was a mix of electronic music, reggae and punk rock. They recorded "The Spliff Radio Show" in 1980, their only album in English. 
After parting ways with vocalist Alf Klimek, the remaining members carried on in German sharing vocals between all four of them.
In 1983 the song “Das Blech” reached the dutch Tipparade. From  the album “Herzlichen Glückwunsch” (1982). Despite their influential status, the band was shortlived.

Elvis Presley - Are You Lonesome Tonight? b/w Beyond The Reef (1980) - single

This song was written in 1926 by Tin Pan Alley songwriters Roy Turk and Lou Handman. It was a hit in 1927 for a number of artists including Vaughan Deleath (A female despite the name), Henry Burr and Gene Austin. In 1950 it was revived by the bandleader Blue Barron with his vocalist Bobby Beers, and Al Jolson cut a version in 1953. Elvis' manager Colonel Parker asked him to try the song because it was a favorite of Parker's wife, Marie.
Elvis sings Are You Lonesome Tonight live at the International Hotel in Las Vegas. A very special version from August 26 1969. In this evening Elvis decidet to change the text from the song. "Do you gaze at your bald head and wish you had hair"and then cannot keep a straight face the rest of the song, so he had to start laugthing and his background singer woman Cissy Houston from the vocal.

Bilbo Baggins was a Scottish pop band formed in 1972 in Edinburgh. Band name was changed to Bilbo in 1978. Band from Edinburgh who used to be the support act for the Bay City Rollers, sharing the controversial Tam Paton as manager.
In 1976 they released “Back Home”, a cover from the Golden Earring, and written by George Kooymans

Boozy - Broken Dreams b/w Love Sweet Lovin´ (1977) - single

Boozy is een voortzetting van de band Trojka, met daarin Tamaela, Van Zeyst, Souisa, Kleine en Vorenholt. Al in 1976 maken ze onder naam Trojka demo's. De platenmaatschappijen raken echter pas geïnteresseerd wanneer Marijke Verboon de gelederen komt versterken. Als een soort Nederlandse Chaka Kahn fungeert zij als de trekpleister van de groep. Ze veranderen hun naam in Boozy en tekenen een contract bij Poker, een onderdeel van Basart Records. Boozy duikt de studio in om de single “Dance To The Music” op te nemen. De single bereikt in maart nummer 21 in de Top 40. Opvolger “Angela” doet het in juni nog iets beter en haalt nummer 17. Later dat jaar verschijnt het album “Boozy”, geproduceerd door Eddy Ouwens. De derde single “Broken Dreams” flopt.

Nicole Rieu - Je M´envole b/w Ils Sont Parrtis De La Ville (1977) - single

Nicole Rieu (born 16 May 1949, Chaumont, Haute-Marne) is a French singer, best known outside France for her participation in the 1975 Eurovision Song Contest.
Rieu signed her first record contract with AZ Records in 1969. In 1973 she was spotted by the larger Barclay label, where she was offered a deal, and scored a hit with her first release "Je suis". In 1975, Rieu was chosen internally by channel TF1 as the French representative for the 20th Eurovision Song Contest with the Pierre Delanoë-penned song "Et bonjour à toi l'artiste". The contest was held on 22 March in Stockholm, and Rieu finished in fourth place of 19 entrants. Rieu followed her Eurovision appearance with further successful singles such as "Je M'envole" in 1977
